Imagine for a moment that
your body/mind is self-organizing,
self-regulating, and
self-healing. That the connective
tissue you call home (body) can dissipate
tension (energy) in a moment, especially
during times of high stress (crisis).
Our body/mind is
always adapting to what it perceives as
environmental stress in order to survive
and maintain balance.
Research has
demonstrated that the everyday stress of
life,
over time is the root cause of most
conditions and diseases that infiltrate
our body overriding its innate ability to
recover in the most advantageous
way.
Our body/mind is
constantly letting us know that our
choices or living behaviors may be out of
balance by sending us messages such as s
back pain, body discomfort, high blood
pressure, headaches, changes in
temperature or even organ
dysfunction.
These warning
signs give us an opportunity to listen and
trust what our body/mind is telling us, so
that we can make the appropriate change or
take an appropriate action to help our
system regain its health.
What most people
may do is wait until things get so sever
that the discomfort becomes intolerable
and we begin to take a drug so as not to
have to address the cause.
The analogy I
like to use is how our car operates. If
you were driving down the freeway and
suddenly your engine light went on, would
you pull over to the next service station
and have the mechanic address the problem
or would you ask him to please turn the
red light off as it is annoying you as you
drive?
Of course you
would have him check your engine to be
sure there was enough oil, water or
address whatever the problem is so the car
will operate.
The approach of
NSA is that we recognize that symptoms are
letting you know that your body is out of
balance, and that your body/mind is not
able to recover or adapt to an
accumulation of different stressors, be
they physical, emotional/mental, or
chemical.
Research through
the University of California in Irvine
has
demonstrated the profound quality of life
experiences patients under NSA care have
received.
NSA is a
gentle, nurturing, organic
approach
by changing how the body/mind functions
through the nervous system. This approach
was developed by Dr. Donald Epstein over
twenty five years ago.
As people regain
their health they naturally begin to make
choices in their lives which support this
new way of feeling. Studies have shown people
under Network Care make healthier choices
in their lives.
